Well... actually it is. But our credo is gourmet and balanced. And especially with always very little sugar. 👌
For the French toast
- 2-3 slices of dried or toasted wholemeal bread
- 150 ml vegetable or cow's milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp of stevia
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the spread:
- 1 tbsp almond puree
- 1 handful of Elsy Snacks chocolate covered almonds
- 1 tsp of honey
🥄 In a hollow plate, mix the egg, milk, stevia and vanilla extract so that the mixture is homogeneous
🥄 Heat your skillet over medium heat and add a knob of butter or oil of your choice
🥄 Soak your slices of bread previously lightly grilled or dried and put them directly to brown in the pan 3-4 min on each side so that they have a beautiful color.
🥄 Then prepare the spread by mixing honey and almond puree, with a knife coarsely crush the almonds coated with Elsy snack chocolate and add them to the preparation.
🥄 Arrange the still warm French toast on the plate and spread with the dough, you will be able to see that the almond chocolate is melting on the slices that are still warm! 🍫
